Engine Sprocket (Countershaft sprocket)

SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.

Removal

Remove the countershaft sprocket guard bolt with an 8 mm socket.

Remove the sprocket guard.

Installation

Adjust the drive chain slack. See the Drive Chain Adjustment topic for more information.
